Denbigh Infirmary, X-Ray Room | Pen Y Bryn Joinery

The Brief.

The project entailed all enabling and infrastructure works associated in delivering the new X-Ray Room at Denbigh Infirmary. The projects successful completion was held in high regard and achieved through the commitment and dedication shown by our workforce and trusted contractors, with much of the work commencing “out of hours” and through rotational shifts.

The enabling and infrastructure works included:

Soft strip to all areas including flooring, ceilings, and joinery items
Formation of new opening and replacement of door set
Installation of new floor coverings
Modification, replacement to existing ceilings
Extension, modification, and alteration to building services including electrical, plumbing, data, fire alarm / detection
Replacement of lead protection to specified area
Installation of various joinery items
Redecoration and making good to all areas affected by the works
Communication and co-ordination with Siemens Healthcare Team
Communication and co-ordination with BCUHBs RPA (Radiation Protection Advisor)

Just a massive thank you to everyone who has helped in the preparation of the opening of the brand-new Denbigh Infirmary X ray and Ultrasound department. It couldn’t have happened without the input of you all including the guys from Pen Y Bryn joinery who gave tirelessly worked in putting shelves, and everything up for me.
